As with everything, this blog has been nearly ready to go live for FAR too long (like a year, oops).

My poor designer Ellissa Jayne from Flourish Online, must have been pulling her hair out as she waited for me to provide content so we could get this show on the road.

Yep, because just like you, I have my own version of perfectionism (which is just a money block in disguise!)

Before we get started, I wanted to introduce myself and for you to make sure you are in the right place 🙂

I’m Clare Stephens, the owner of Sydney based family photography studio Your Life Through a Lens Photography, creator of the Kids Through a Lens online photography courses, and business mentor to family photographers.

On this blog, you’ll find lots of hints, tips and practical advice about how to price yourself, how to create a killer money mindset, how to attract the right clients and how to find more ease through automation and funnels in your family photography business.

Photographing children changed my life.

What first started as a simple hobby, turned into an all- consuming passion and is now the reason I can work for myself, in my own hours, sometimes even while travelling the world, doing what I love.

In less than two years, I went from burnt out and bored Investment Banking career woman to the freedom seeking full-time family photographer that I am today.

I’ve replaced my corporate salary with a thriving family photography business that supports my “happy place” beach lifestyle and inspires me daily.
